TYRO Clerk of Course introduction
With less than 40 days to go before the early bird discount ends (don’t worry you can still book after this it will just cost you a bit more) I think it’s high time to start introducing you to the team that are going to be setting out some exciting sections for you all

“Hi, I’m David Ball (Bally), I’ll be serving as the TYRO Clerk of Course for this year’s National Rally.
I’ve been a member of various land Rover clubs over the last 30 years, being a member of the MROC since 2008. I’ve been through the spectrum of Land Rovers from a 1956 86” series I (engine swapped to a 3.5ltr V8) a Discovery 1, 2 X discovery 2s, currently have a Discovery 3 & a 1999 TD5 Defender 90. I’ve always been more interested in helping rather than competing, most of you will have seem me at the Majors memorial trial where I’ve been responsible for helping set up, signage & leading a group for at least the last 10 years or so. Let’s hope this years National is a dry one & I can deliver a TYRO trial worthy of the event”
