ALRC National Rally 2026

Information and Booking page for the ALRC National Rally 2026 (21st to 26th May)

We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to the 2026 ALRC National Rally, which will be hosted by Midland Rover Owner’s Club and supported by Staffs and Shrops LRC, who have kindly agreed to organise and run the Comp Safari for us.

The event will be held over the Bank Holiday weekend of Friday 22nd to Monday 25th May at Green Hall Farm, near Llanfyllin Wales, (not far from Oswestry).

I did say ‘never again’ when it was suggested that I head up the event for 2026… however the more I thought about it, the more excited I became at the thought of being involved in what will be a superb weekend of competitions, with the support, input and help a great group of people. So here I am – once again!

The land, which some of you will know from the MROC’s Majors competition weekend, offers superb competition grounds in unrivalled space!  It has never been used for a National Rally before, and the Clerks of Courses have been busy selecting and preparing which areas they will be setting out their various competitions in.  With so much to choose from, it’s been a difficult job!

The membership of the MROC has stepped up, as they always do, bringing their experience, knowledge and expertise together to ensure that all bases are covered.  The camping fields have been measured and the guys organising Site Services and Rally Control have planned out where Signing-on, Lining Up, Scrutineering, Catering & the Beer / Socialising / Prize-Giving Tents and Marquee will be going. Catering and the bar is going to be provided by The Happy Herefords, who have a first rate reputation – and even better food, so no need to do too much shopping before you get here.   There will also be water, toilets, and an Elsan disposal point on site, plus some showers for those without their own facilities.

We have booked some fine weather too (allegedly)… so the only thing left to do, is for you all to sign up and come along. Please!

ALRC - Chairman - Richard SmithThank you for supporting the event – the more I thought about it, the more excited I became at the thought of being involved in what will be a superb weekend of competitions, with the support, input and help a great group of people
